Color Cupcakes!!!! By M.

Today I made some colorful cupcakes. This is a special and famous recipe that my mom sometimes makes. She usually makes a cake, but I have a thing for cupcakes and decided to try it out. It is an apple and cinnamon recipe, but my favorite part is the Philadelphia cheese icing, it might sound weird but I love it. In some of the pictures, our dog Jambo helped out, he is the baby of the family and this will probably not be the last time you see him.

This morning I visited an outdoor flower market to buy flowers for a friend who is currently away on a trip and needed to send a gift  to another friend (long story). She specifically asked me to purchase a "large, colorful, assorted bouquet with an informal countryside look". These are some of the flowers that the shop vendor and I picked out for the final bouquet. Likey?

What is it with girls and the color pink..? hmm.... Maybe it's because it makes us smile, it is pretty and bright, and perfect on a warm sunny day. This summer has turned my wardrobe into an array of soft, pale pink items. I am sure they will not let me down because they make me feel and look feminine and whimsical... My next project: decorating my space in pink, but will my beloved husband agree? Think not.

I recently purchased these Stuart Weitzman sandals. Pink. Perfect.

My year in Ireland... By M.

After spending a year in boarding school I am sharing with you some of my pictures. I really enjoyed the experience and I had a blast. Even though I gained a few pounds and it was not my most fabulous year, I have no regrets. I met very interesting people that I keep in contact with and I experienced a different way of living.
