Tonight is Halloween! You're stuck on what to wear and you're fed up of of wearing the same boring Morticia costume you bought centuries ago which you've worn year in and year out? No worries girl! Just let the movies inspire you, just like they inspired the great designers of this year's fabulous runway shows.

The Eames Chair in the home office. By S.

This great chair created by the world-famous designer couple Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller in the mid Twentieth Century is living a glorious revival in all spaces of the contemporary home, specially the dining room and the home office. It is quite affordable (about US$300) and I encourage you to go out and buy it if you think your home office needs that extra specialness!

I have been in love with this chair for a few years and I have made a commitment to myself to stop coveting it for once and for all and to go out and get it! I am currently using a Vitra Panton Chair in my home office but I think I'll transfer that one to my son's bedroom and replace it with a cool Eames Molded Plastic Chair in white with wooden legs (like the one in the last image). Definitely, absolutely.

Triangles on the wall. By S.

When I discovered these clever cardboard triangles from Papier Tigre that stick on the wall I knew I had to share them with you. I think they are so original and don't they look great!? What's more, it's a clever way to clear your desk from all those little things that can get in the way. They are actually useful for storing home office objects like post-its, pens, paperclips, rubbers, you name it. You can also get creative and hang them any way you please! What is also quite cool is the way they come stored flat and neatly in a box.

Retro domestic bliss. By S.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Karlie in a baby carriage...

Karlie Kloss, the model of the moment, is the star in this amazing retro photo shoot for Vogue by photographer Arthur Elgort. Don't these pictures convey the perfect image of the sweet hue of motherly love and conjugal romance? They take me right back to my childhood!

And please let us not ignore the beautiful clothes. I love the quirkily feminine pieces Karlie is wearing, specially those in the first picture. Fall is here but these clothes in a delicate color palette come in 50 different shades of apricot, amaranth, cameo and carnation... Lovely. I say no more.
